About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is McKendree and I am so glad that you are here! I'm not sure how you got here; maybe you know me, or maybe you don't, but here on this blog I will post about my journey as a cancer patient. You can follow along first hand as I share what it's like to be a junior in high school dealing with thyroid cancer. Cancer, the disease itself, is horrible, but in my own experience I have learned that the bad moments do not even compare to the blessings that are revealed. In my opinion, cancer is the best thing that has happened to me and I would not change my situation even if I had the power to. The numerous lessons that the LORD has taught me since my diagnosis in August 2011 have shaped me into the person that I am today. These lessons are so valuable and I would like to share them with anyone I can, so welcome again to my blog and I hope you enjoy. :)
